Who are Healthwatch?

Healthwatch listen to people’s views and work for positive change in health and social care. We do this by researching public experiences and writing reports about our findings. You can find out more at: www.healthwatch.co.uk

The role

We want to hear specifically about young people’s (aged 16-24) experiences of health and social care services.

You will be a match for this role if you want to work with a young team to research and discuss health and social care systems in your area. Volunteers will also spend time engaging with their local community to find out more about their experiences.

Commitment from you

Induction and training online

Monthly meetings online (approx. 30 to 60 minutes)

Casual progress discussions with your supervisor

Short creative/practical/research assignments

Approx. one engagement event per month – which we will organise as a team
