Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Quite simply, without them, our services could not exist. Could a couple of hours of your week change a family’s whole year?
For 30 years, our volunteers have been there for local families with young children across Wokingham District. A cup of tea and a chat. A trip to the park. Someone who listens, encourages and helps things feel a little more possible.
You don’t need to be an expert. Just friendly, reliable and willing to listen. Many of our volunteers simply draw on their own experience as parents, grandparents and carers and we provide full training and ongoing support every step of the way.
