At the beating heart of our programme, we need Team Members. Our Team Members break the mould and create bold environments for young people age 4-18yrs to grow and explore.

Gingerbread baker? Den-maker? Explorer? Climber? Whatever your skills, we want you to join the adventure and help our young people gain skills for life. One session you might be planning a hike. And the next? Learning new things right on your doorstep.

We’re all about teamwork here at Scouts, so if there is something you aren’t confident in, your team members will be able to take the lead and teach the team the skills.

A typical weekday session might look something like:
Running adventurous activities and games
Helping and supporting young people
Chatting and collaborating with fellow volunteers and parents and carers.

1st Sonning Scouts are looking for help with the following sections:

Beavers – Thursdays 6-7pm in term time
Cubs – Mondays 6.30-8pm in term time
Scouts – Wednesdays 7.15-9.15pm in term time.
